Steps
- Arrival: Our clinicians arrive in unmarked cars to maintain your privacy.
- Initial Check: Each family member is checked for head lice and nits.
- Treatment: Infested individuals undergo manual combing with our lice removal comb, with two phases of sectioned coming.
- Certification: Head Lice Clearance Certification will be provided upon request.
- Home Care Instructions: Guidance and literature on continuing the regimen at home.
- Follow-Up: We recommend scheduling a follow-up head check within 7-10 days.
After the first appointment, you should be 100% free of live lice and 98-100% free of nits. We suggest daily combing for 5-10 minutes between visits to ensure complete eradication.

How to Comb:
- Use the Tiny Lock lice comb 3-5 times throughout the following week.
- Wet the hair with Tiny Locks conditioner mixed with water and detangle it.
- Part the hair horizontally in 1-inch sections, starting at the nape. Comb each section with the Tiny Locks lice comb, reaching from scalp to ends.
- Wipe the comb on a paper towel to check for lice and continue until the section is clear.
- Work around the head, progressing with 1-inch sections at a time.
Follow-Up Check: Arrange a recheck appointment 7-10 days after your initial treatment to qualify for our 21-day lice-free guarantee.
Homecare:
Lice Behavior: Lice cannot survive or lay eggs off the scalp and die within 24-48 hours. They only crawl from one head to another and cannot jump or fly.
Cleaning Guidelines:
- Wash sheets; run blankets and comforters through a hot dryer cycle.
- Remove loose hair from brushes, wash them in warm soapy water, and place them in a plastic bag in the freezer for at least 2 hours.
- Avoid wearing clothes worn in the last 48 hours.
- Use a lint roller to clean couches, chairs, and car seats.
